An Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) is an open-ended fund or
unit investment trust that is registered under the Investment
Company Act of 1940, and traded by investors on a registered
national securities exchange. This type of fund tracks
a specific index, and trades throughout the day like a
stock. Some advantages to investing in an ETF include:
Tax efficiency, buying and selling flexibility, diversification
and hedging.
Below is a list of ETFs that are restricted from either
the early or late trading session on the PHLX, as well
as a list of ETF's Designated For Extended Trading on
the PHLX.
