PHILADELPHIA - Dec. 21, 2007 — The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that volume in equity options reached an all-time record high yesterday, December 20, when 6,399,457 contracts traded representing an all-time high market share of 31.50 %. This volume surpasses the previous record high of Dec. 14, 2006 when 3,345,529 million equity options contracts traded representing a market share of 27.87%.
