MARTHA REEVES, OF MARTHA AND THE VANDELLAS, TO RING THE OPENING BELL AT THE PHILADELPHIA STOCK EXCHANGE ON FRIDAY, JULY 20

PHILADELPHIA – July 17, 2007 – Martha Reeves, of the renowned singing group Martha and the Vandellas, will ring the opening bell at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange on Friday, July 20. She is in Philadelphia to attend the 70th Anniversary Convention of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) to which she is an elected delegate from the Detroit AFTRA Local.

Remarks will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m. Photography is permitted on the trading floor.

Martha Reeves, among other things, was the lead singer of the legendary Motown group Martha and the Vandellas. During her tenure as Motown's reigning female chart-topper, second only to Diana Ross in the 1960s, Reeves and the Vandellas scored over a dozen hit singles including “Dancing in the Street,” “Nowhere to Run" and “Jimmy Mack”.

Reeves went on to perform as a solo singer and has performed in all venues, all over the world with a plethora of musical icons.
