PHILADELPHIA – Nov. 28, 2006 – The Philadelphia
Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today changes to the PHLX Semiconductor
SectorSM that will become effective before the opening
of business on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006. Freescale Semiconductor Inc
(FSL.B) will be deleted and SanDisk Corp. (SNDK) will be added.
"The addition today of SanDisk Corp. to the
PHLX Semiconductor Sector better helps investors chart the leadership
of the semiconductor industry with the original inventor of flash
data storage card products," said Daniel R. Carrigan, PHLX’s
vice president of new product development.
