PHILADELPHIA- April 27, 2006 - Nearly 400 options
industry leaders are expected to attend the 24th Annual Options
Industry Conference to be held on May 4 through May 6 at the Loews
Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach, Florida.
Panel discussions slated for the three-day event will include such
topics as prospects and barriers to the future growth of the options
industry; the use of institutional options in the marketplace; and
the expanding role of electronic trading. There will also be an
overview of the future of the options industry with the leaders
of the six options exchanges on Saturday, May 6 from 9:00 a.m. to
10:15 a.m.
The keynote speaker on Friday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. will be Maddy
Dychwald, futurist, author and expert on the life style revolution,
consumer trends and generational marketing.
Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. will speak on Saturday, May 6 at 11:30
a.m. along with Les Gelb, nationally recognized foreign policy expert
and Pulitzer Prize winner.
The American Stock Exchange, the Boston Options Exchange, the Chicago
Board Options Exchange, the International Securities Exchange, NYSE
Arca, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, this year’s host
exchange, jointly sponsor the conference.
