PHILADELPHIA — October
31, 2005 The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that
it will begin trading 12 new options beginning November 1.
Biocryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BIU/BCRX)(option/stock symbol: BIU)
will trade on the March expiration cycle with initial expiration
months of November, December, March and June. Position and exercise
limits have been set at 250,000 contracts. The option was allocated
to Market Street Securities.
Holly Corporation (option/stock symbol: HOC) will trade on the March
expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November, December,
March and June. Position and exercise limits have been set at 50,000
contracts. The option was allocated to Citadel Derivatives Trading
Group LLC.
Hydril (HBQ/HYDL)(option/stock symbol: HBQ) will trade on the March
expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November, December,
March and June. Position and exercise limits have been set at 50,000
contracts. The option was allocated to Citadel Derivatives Trading
Group LLC.
Ivanhoe Mines Limited (option/stock symbol: IVN) will trade on the
March expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November,
December, March and June. Position and exercise limits have been
set at 75,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Citadel Derivatives
Trading Group LLC.
LCA-Vision, Inc. (JVQ/LCAV)(option/stock symbol: JVQ) will trade
on the March expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November,
December, March and June. Position and exercise limits have been
set at 75,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Citadel Derivatives
Trading Group LLC.
NAVTEQ Corporation (option/stock symbol: NVT) will trade on the January
expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November, December,
January and April. Position and exercise limits have been set at
75,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Citigroup Derivatives
Markets, Inc.
Payless ShoeSource (option/stock symbol: PSS) will trade on the March
expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November, December,
January and March. Position and exercise limits have been set at
250,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Timber Hill LLC.
PPG Industries, Inc. (option/stock symbol: PPG) will trade on the
February expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November,
December, January and February. Position and exercise limits have
been set at 250,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Citigroup
Derivatives Markets, Inc.
PPL Corporation (option/stock symbol: PPL) will trade on the January
expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November, December,
January and April. Position and exercise limits have been set at
200,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Timber Hill LLC.
Sempra Energy (option/stock symbol: SRE) will trade on the January
expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November, December,
January and April. Position and exercise limits have been set at
250,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Susquehanna Investment
Group.
Stolt Offshore S.A. (QLS/SOSA)(option/stock symbol: QLS) will trade
on the February expiration cycle with initial expiration months of
November, December, February and May. Position and exercise limits
have been set at 200,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Group
One Ltd.
The Houston Exploration Company (option/stock symbol: THX) will trade
on the March expiration cycle with initial expiration months of November,
December, March and June. Position and exercise limits have been
set at 75,000 contracts. The option was allocated to Citadel Derivatives
Trading Group LLC.
