PHILADELPHIA – September 7, 2005 – Jared Fogle, who lost
nearly 250 pounds on his "Subway Sandwich Diet,” rang
the opening bell to promote the American Heart Association’s
upcoming series of American Heart Walks.” His goal is to communicate
the Heart Association’s message about the importance of exercise
and heart-healthy eating.
