PHILADELPHIA – September 01, 2005 – Philadelphia Flyers captain Keith Primeau rang the opening bell at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange on Thursday, September 1. Entering his sixth season with the Flyers, Primeau led the team in goals (9) and points (16) in 18 games played during the 2003-04 Playoffs. During his five seasons with the Flyers, Primeau recorded 86 goals, 120 assists for 206 points in 303 regular season games and recorded 12 goals and 22 assists for 34 points in 58 playoff games. In 15 NHL seasons, he has netted 265 goals, 347 assists for a total of 612 points in 900 regular season games played.

The Flyers will open the 2005-06 regular season against the New York Rangers at the Wachovia Center on Wednesday, October 5, at 7 p.m.
