THE PHILADELPHIA STOCK EXCHANGE TO BEGIN TRADING ONE NEW OPTION ON AUGUST 12

PHILADELPHIA — August 11, 2005- The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that it will begin trading one new option beginning August 12. The option was allocated to LaBranche Structured Products.

Royal Dutch Shell pic (Class B ADS) (option/stock symbol: RQF/RDS’B) will trade on the January expiration cycle with initial expiration months August, September, October, and January. Position and exercise limits have been set at 75,000 contracts.
