PHILADELPHIA — August 19, 2004 — The
Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) named Daniel R. Carrigan Vice
President For New
Product Development.
In his new position, Carrigan will be responsible for developing
new proprietary equity, options and futures products for the Exchange.
Before joining the PHLX, Carrigan, who has more than 17 years experience
in the industry, held the position of managing director/head of equities
for the Chicago Board of Trade. Previous to that, he was a founding
partner and managing director/head of international business development
for OneChicago, LLC, an electronic futures exchange. He also worked
as a trader and in business development roles for Tudor Investment
Corp., Finacor Vendome, Inc., ABN AMRO and Crédit Agricole.
Carrigan earned a bachelor of science degree from the University
of Illinois in1986. A native of Illinois, he is married and has two
children
