THE PHILADELPHIA STOCK EXCHANGE ON MONDAY, JULY

July 2, 2001 - Frank Olivieri Jr, grandnephew of the original "Pat,"
founder of Pat's King of Steaks, rang the opening bell on the
floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange on Monday, July 2
to mark the first day of trading for the month. Mr. Olivieri had help
from his 9-year-old daughter, Nicolette. This is the seventh celebrity
bell-ringing in a yearlong series of famous Philadelphia people invited
to ring the opening bell.
Pat's
Steaks is the oldest family-owned restaurant in Philadelphia.
It has been at the same location in South Philly for 71 years. Mr.
Olivieri brought samples of PhillyCheese Steaks, Pat's signature sandwich.
