Stock Rollout Schedule
PHLX XLE
Implementation and Stock Rollout Plan
The Philadelphia Stock Exchange is excited to announce the launch
of a new equities trading platform that we have branded, “PHLX
XLE.” The PHLX will gradually implement the new technology
in three major phases.
PHLX XLE
Implementation
Phase One will begin on Friday, November 10th,
and will last approximately one week. The existing PACE business
will cease operations and PHLX XLESM Participants will
have the ability to enter two-sided orders using PHLX-provided
software only. Orders will not be accepted via the API.
Phase Two will begin on Friday, November 17th,
and will last approximately four weeks. PHLX XLESM
will be available to all participants for quoting and complete
matching functionality in all NMS stocks. All trades must be executed
on PHLX XLESM, as routing functionality will NOT be
in place.
Phase Three will commence on Friday, December
15th, and is expected to last approximately two weeks. Phase three
will include the launch of routing functionality, single-layer
routing (POP), and sweep routing (Ship and Quote). Routing to
all market centers through will be managed by the PHLX broker
dealer facility, PRO Securities LLC.
PHLX XLE Stock Rollout Plan
To ensure successful implementation of PHLX XLESM,
the PHLX will be introducing stocks gradually during Phases One
and Two. The rollout schedule is provided below.
PHASE ONE
Functionality: Two-sided order entry to PHLX
XLESM with PHLX provided software only. Orders will
not be accepted via the API during this phase.
